The elegant overlapping dark lines,  decades in the making are the pathway signatures the Dust Devils of Mars. Mars Dust Devils ( small tornado like vortex funnels ) travel across Mars surface lifting and removing the lighter sand to reveal the dark surface underneath. This concerntration of dark paths observed are the result of hundreds for Dust Devils meandering across the dunes of Mars.
